The hockey season got off to a late start this year, which only compounded the misery for St. Louis Blues fans. After a promising campaign under new coach Ken Hitchcock last year, the Blues were ousted from the playoffs by eventual Stanley Cup winners, the Los Angeles Kings. It wasn't even close, either -- they beat us in four games. It's been a long time coming, but tonight at 7 p.m. the Kings return to St. Louis so the two teams can test each other once again. A Blues victory tonight won't erase the sting of last year, but it'll feel good all the same. The puck drops at 7 p.m. at the Scottrade Center (1401 Clark Avenue; 314-622-5435 or www.stlblues.com). Tickets are $35 to $240.
