Seven books spanning 4,100 pages and eight films totaling 1,179 minutes tell the story of boy wizard Harry Potter. His journey from eleven-year-old unloved misfit in the Muggle world to his education at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and, finally, to evil-vanquishing hero, enchanted audiences the world over. It also consumed a lot of time for fans who actually read the books -- usually hours after midnight releases at bookstore parties. Devote considerably less time to the story of Harry, Hermoine, Ron, Hagrid and all the rest at >Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience. Dan Clarkson and Jeff Turner bottled all of J.K. Rowling's Potter magic into this 70-minute, two-man theater performance that features everybody's favorite moments, including a Quidditch game. Potted Potter is performed at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. tonight at Washington University's Edison Theatre (6445 Forsyth Boulevard; 314-935-6543 or edison.wustl.edu). Tickets cost $20 to $36.
