So terribly sorry that you had too suffer through your long and arduous drive through the horrors of West County. Streets that are always busy, and that have frequent traffic lights most be so disconcerting for someone who is more accustomed to Grand, Gravois, and Washington Avenue. (Out of curiosity, what do your observations of suburban sprawl have to do with the restaurant?) And the ribs "lack....something"? What could that be? Perhaps the sauces that were right there for you to choose? Or, perhaps you think it would be better for BBQ ASAP to decide for their diners whether they would prefer spicy or sweet, rather than leaving the choice to them? Having been to the place in question, I think they deserved a better reviewer.
You're right. I panned the place. Here's how BBQ ASAP itself responded on Facebook to my outrageous takedown of the restaurant: "Happy hump day! Having a hard time deciding what you are eating today? Maybe this great review of BBQ ASAP by Ian Froeb of the RFT will help you make up you mind..."
