Sure, you can quote from Romeo and Juliet all day -- what with your thumb-biting and wherefore-art-thou-ing — and you're quite familiar with the star-crossed lovers' general tale, but unless you're a Shakespearean scholar (thanks for reading, those of you who are), we're guessing that there are more than a few story elements that you have forgotten through the years. To reintroduce yourself to the power of young love and the deep sorrow of this timeless tragedy, check out St. Louis Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, presented at De Smet Jesuit High School (233 North New Ballas Road, Creve Coeur) at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and at 2 p.m. Sunday (March 28 through April 6); there's also a performance at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 3. Tickets cost $15 to $25 and are available through www.stlshakespeare.org.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m.; Thu., April 3, 7:30 p.m. Starts: March 28. Continues through April 6, 2014
