I found your comment about some pies being in the oven too long to be of interest. The one time we and another couple were at the original location, we were served two pies which were burnt way beyond edibility. This can happen, but the real surprise was the attitude of the staff. Both our server and the manager dismissed our complaints saying that the pies were normal. We did not order straight carbon. All of us had been to Italy, had pizza there and we knew burnt this badly is not normal. They made no attempt to make things right, and they were frankly offensive, implying that we just didn't appreciate authentic pizza. No self-respecting Neapolitan pizzeria would have served these pies. There are too many good pizza places in St. Louis, serving all kinds of styles, to bother with a place with such poor quality control and such rude employees.
