Washington University Bears women's basketball

Readers' Choice: St. Louis University Billikens men's basketball
The Washington University Bears, the Division III women's basketball team, amassed an 81-game winning streak before losing a game in January. Only UCLA teams coached by the legendary John Wooden had a longer run in the win column. The Lady Bears, led by coach Nancy Fahey, have won the national championship in their division for the last four consecutive years. Some of the Bears' senior starters, including Tasha Rodgers, have moved on, but under Fahey's leadership, Wash. U.'s program should remain a title contender for years to come. Fahey's record over 15 years is an outstanding 352-62, but what's most remarkable is that she seems happy to stay at Wash. U. Why mess with the best?
