Quality, quantity, variety: They're all to be found at the newish Chocolate Bar in Lafayette Square, a chocolate junkie's dream. Everything from fruit to fortune cookies has been dipped in white, milk or dark chocolate. There are cakes and truffles, all injected with chocolate -- or, if you prefer, you can get your chocolate uncut, by the pound. Because everything is of the utmost quality, the only chocolate jones that can't be tended to is that of the waxy, ultrasweet low-class grade enjoyed in childhood. But don't worry, the fancy cocoa drinks (served cold or hot) are named after South Side neighborhood streets, such as the Juniata, so that ought to take care of even those unsophisticated cravings.
