Best Basketball Court

There is a forge in which heroes are made, and it's just behind Chaney Elementary School (formerly A.B. Green Elementary) in Richmond Heights. You may not realize you've seen this pair of basketball courts, but you have. Every car traveling east on Highway 40 near the Hanley exit zooms past this famous spot. Players at Chaney always have an audience -- albeit one in which each fan gets about two seconds in a fast-moving car to appreciate the action. It doesn't matter: When you play at Chaney, with thousands of drivers getting a courtside view of your moves, you feel as though you're playing for the whole world. The City of Richmond Heights just fixed up the courts, and now they're minty fresh. If you've got the moves and the stones to bust out for a huge audience, you can become a basketball hero here.
