There are other fine malls in the area, it's true. None, though, ensconce shoppers in a comparable atmosphere of grandeur, from Saks to Neiman Marcus, and every place in between. Somehow, even during the dreaded holiday shopping days that make up the space between Thanksgiving and the end of the year, easing into a great parking spot remains a possibility. The dining options, though on the pricey side, are a refreshingly far cry from food-court central. The Plaza is too decadent, you say? Lighten up: Anyone can afford to look. It's fun to pretend to be genteel! Besides, regardless of your buying power, the elegant bathrooms make the visit worthwhile, and they're free.
