Best Kennel St. Louis 2004 - Kennelwood Village

Two words: Doggy suites. We're talkin' satellite TV and a toddler bed for your mutt to roll around in. The television set's usually tuned to Animal Planet, but Kennelwood staffers will accommodate just about any request you have for your pet while you're away. "We have some dogs who have their own luggage, their own beds, ottomans, chairs and blankets," says Kennelwood marketing manager Renee Cordess. Celebrating 30 years in business this year, at any given time the flagship location at Page and Lindbergh may be home-away-from-home to some 400 dogs. And let's not overlook the "personal potty valets" -- dog walkers who'll ensure your pooch poos in comfort. More? Kennelwood also offers cat condos and suites, featuring TVs, aquariums and windows. Bunny rabbits, guinea pigs and birds are welcome too.

Kennelwood is a Scam

Two times I give my Afghan hound to Kennelwood for grooming and two time they returned it not washed and not brushed. They wanted to shave all his legs, I did not agree so they didnt washed and brushed him. They don't know how to groom Afghan hounds.Total Scam.

I kept my dogs at Kennelwood once and will never go back again. The staff seemed bored and was just going through the motions and I got the impression that they were boarding more dogs than they could reasonably care for. They promised that my dog would get plenty of attentiona nd care, but he smelled badly of urine when I picked him up and his hair had become totally matted. They were unapologetic and acted like that was the norm. I was totally disgusted and won't use them for any service again. i do NOT reccomend.
