The City of St. Louis and the DESCO Group
Apparently, successfully flattening the Century Building in order to redevelop the Old Post Office downtown wasn't sufficient for St. Louis city officials and the DESCO Group. No, the developers and the city had to rub activists' noses in the dirt, boasting of the project as the "catalyst of downtown revitalization" and then, when the landmark had been reduced to rubble, suing two of the Century's defenders for malicious prosecution. When it comes to villainy, these guys are smoother and slicker than Snidely Whiplash's moustache.
