Sarah? Ohmygod! OK, so, tonight is the big H.I.M. show at the Pageant. We HAVE to go line up early, just like we did for AFI, Dashboard Confessional and Panic! At the Disco. And don't you dare say no! And yes, I'm aware it's 100 degrees. Who cares? Tommy just called me and he's totally there already—and you know how much I want to make out with him. Besides, we have to get there early so we can get a good spot in the pit when the doors open. That's the ONLY place to see His Hotness Ville Valo. (Not that I'd want to hang out with my parents upstairs in the balcony, anyway. But still.) Plus it puts us that much closer to the merch booths—and did I mention Ville's gorgeous, GORGEOUS face? People have been lined up since eight this morning! Call me!

off broadway until recently was 21+ strictly -- such as last year, when this blurb was written. new owner steve pohlman has been doing some all-ages shows since taking over the club last year.
I would have to completely disagree with this selection. I played a show at Off Broadway the other day, and being a minor, was pleasantly surprised at how nice the entire staff there was to minors, be it the door guy, the sound guy, or even the bartender, who was totally fine with giving my friends and I water (normally this merits a scowl). The venue was much more intimate than The Pageant, more attractive, had better acoustics (the Pageant only sounds good when it's packed) and had an overall better all ages feel to it. I don't think I've met a friendlier staff at any venue, with maybe the exception of The Focal Point, so I highly recommend Off Broadway.Also, fuck Blueberry Hill for taking the good music away from underage kids!!! I vow NEVER to play there.
