For every mile you ride a bicycle, you keep some amount of money, however tiny, out of the pocket of the petroleum potentates, political toadies and despots of all national stripes whose reigns depend on the depletion of natural resources. With that in mind, we rescued our three-decades-old Peugeot from the shed and took it to Big Shark, where in a week or so it was good as almost-new. Big Shark appreciates old bikes and keeps them going with determination, velo-professionalism and genuine good cheer. And if you're looking for a new bicycle, there's a forest of them, everything from little bikes for little tykes to sleek, seductive (and expensive!) wheels for the well-heeled and serious. Plus a sea of Spandex, cool socks, lights, bells, whistles and rubber bracelets. Good-guy proprietor Mike Weiss is there to greet you. (His grandfather Eduardo was an early disciple of Sigmund Freud, and his affable father is the redoubtable Wash. U. mathematician Guido.) He and his colleagues bring energy, knowledge and enthusiasm to this East Loop emporium—and an obvious affection for the equipment and sport it propels.

Deeke's is by far the best bike shop in the St. Louis area. They are great and even help me out with parts without my boyfriend being there. Kind of guys that tell you straight forward what is expected and don't try to yank you around. They even were able to get my pink Joe Rocket and KBC pink helmet in so I could rock it. I recommend if you are looking for the best prices for the coolest accessorries to give them a ring or stop by. They carry many name brand items and if they don't have it they are more than willing to try and start carrying it if it's a hot item.

Hands down Deekes is the best bike shop in the St. Louis area. They always back their word up and get the parts and accessories in way fast time. They even hook up the military for doing what we do by always offering 10% discount to support the troops. I would recommend them to anybody. The type of bike shop where you can just go in and shoot the breeze with them even if your not looking to buy anything.

Deeke Motor sports is the only place I will have work on my bikes. His mechanics know what they are doing and don't try to sell you things you don't need. Their prices are very reasonable and quality of work are outstanding. I recommend him to everyone I know.

If you not only want great service but to feel at home and welcome, you need to stop by Deeke Powersports in Fairview Heights, Il. Randy is a great guy who knows his stuff and won't jerk you around. He's upfront and honest and will help you solve your problem or get you what you want (or need). He's also one of the few bike shops you'll find anymore that doesn't mind bike guys/girls just hanging out b.s.'ing or just looking and asking questions! I live near Kansas City now, but will still go through Randy when I need something for me or my bike. So my vote is hands down Deeke Motorsports for best bike shop!

Not like I need to say anything else, it's all about DEEKE MOTORSPORT!!! My ninja was my first bike and Deeke is always going to be my number one stop and shop. It's always first name basis once you go in. Also, once you walk in to Deeke motorsport it's like you feel at home. The service is number one in the area and I would rec. this to anybody as I already do. Service like this should go rewarded. Randy is a cool guy, one of the best and if he says your order will be there in a certain amount of days then it's going to be there. I've had to deal with some real shady motorcycle places and my order would be backed and I would have to cancel. You don't have to worry about that at Deeke Motorsport. If he doesn't have it, he'll find it. If he has an opinion about a product he doesn't like, he'll tell you it's not good or it's the best. Deeke will forever get my business and I believe that they should be getting your business too. So check them out in Fairview Heights, IL. You won't be disappointed.

These guys are great, their prices are great and so is their customer service. Without hesitation I recommend Deeke Motor Sports to everyone I know. I won't take my Vakyrie any place else for service.

+1 to Chris Gustavson. Ive been going to Randy since he opened. Every time I've gone to Deekes with a question, Randy or his staff has the answer. I would have to say the thing I like the most is if you want something he has to order, he'll tell you upfront when it'll be in. And you can be sure it shows up when they say. I definitely trust Deekes Motor sports with my bike, and my business

Deeke Motor Sports should be the best bike shop. They are real stand up guys and shoot straight from the hip. I've always had great customer service from them and I have never even heard of someone having a bad experience there. Its hard enough to trust someone to work on your car these days, but I know when I take my bike to the shop its going to Deekes. I know I can trust Randy and his staff to get the job done with precision and care. If your one of the select few who choose to ride on two wheels or maybe even one, Deekes Motor Sports is the place to go.
