I have eaten there several times and never saw a cookie. I stopped eating there because the service was getting bab and the food is only good if you come in when they are not busy. On a Sunday at noon or so you get what they give you, not the way you ordered it.

Readers' Choice: Uncle Bill's Pancake & Dinner House
Mexican places give you a basket of tortilla chips. Family-friendly restaurants appease screeching tots with tin pails of popcorn. Breadthat's everywhere. But at Chris' Pancakes and Dining, at any time of the day, you get cookies. Warm, half dollar-size, macadamia-white-chocolate-chunk cookies! Any place that gives us permission to eat dessert first deserves a spot in our annual laudfest, but Chris' is greater than the sum of its free cookies. A fifteen- to twenty-minute wait is mandatory on weekend mornings, and pretty much anything on the breakfast menu is totally worth it. Three-egg omelets stuffed with everything from salsa to grilled chicken to locally sourced Italian sausage are delightful; the eponymous pancakes are so big that their lacy edges flop over the sides of your plate. We like to banish Saturday-morning hangovers with the help of the Chris'andwich (fried egg, bacon or Canadian sausage, and American cheese on a croissant) or the country omelet (sausage, hash browns, onions, cheddar cheese and gravy). Chris' even has some healthy optionslike an ace veggie egg-white frittata with mushrooms, spinach, artichokes and tomatoes. Go put your name on the list now, before we take your table. And your cookies.
