Atomic Cowboy
In a world where the term "sexual" is combined with just about any prefix—hetero, homo, bi, trans or metro—Atomic Cowboy welcomes all connotations. The bar's name conjures local versions of John Wayne: rugged, quiet types moseying and smoking under the open sky and sippin' their whiskey neat. But it could just as well adhere to the new brand of Brokeback boys, manicured dudes who text and dance on the disco floor and quaff cosmos on teal vinyl couches, unmoved by the friendly lasses around them. Many have said that the two kinds of cowboys are mutually exclusive, but Atomic Cowboy is proof they can (and do) contentedly co-exist.
