Dave Murray
Dave Murray is the Jose Oquendo of St. Louis weather. He's had the chief meteorologist gig at FOX 2 since 1989 and will freely and self-depreciatingly admit to being a weather geek. But he also reports for KSHE (94.7 FM), KPNT (105.7 FM), KIHT (96.3 FM) and fills in for other weathercasters like KWMU's (90.7 FM) Ben Abell. And God bless him. Let's appreciate for a moment having to deal with DJs. Often Dave gets introduced while a song is still fading out; like a patient pup with a Milk-Bone balanced on his nose waiting for a signal, he waits. And waits. And the DJ jabbers on without any apparent concern that some poor family in Gasconade County might be huddled in the basement, tornado sirens blaring and trees falling, waiting for Dave to tell them what's coming next.
