Nothing says "thanks for last night" like a good breakfast. Pancakes are solid, but if you could pull off crpes, well...cancel the cooking class, Broseph. Rooster has your back. This downtown café offers sweet and savory crepes, plus basic breakfast sides and Kaldi's coffee. While the food is memorable, the atmosphere is more so. Outside is the burgeoning Loft District. Inside, owner Dave Bailey, also of Baileys' Chocolate Bar in Lafayette Square, applies his signature attention to romance. A collection of small, beveled mirrors adorns one wall. The sugar cubes for your coffee are heart-shaped. Neither of you has ever tasted breakfast quite like this.
