Your go-to for household staples, Dollar Tree is also a topnotch party-supply depot. The greeting-card selection rivals any grocery store's; and frantic, cash-strapped brides can find table decorations, faux flowers and even cake toppers on its shelves. And here's the thing: The dang trinkets look so good, no one'll even suspect they cost a buck. Near the checkout lanes, there's a display of grab bags — some marked for boys, others for girls — that hold untold surprises within (also for a dollar). Just like Dollar Tree itself.
