Thanks for the info on this company. I would love to go there sometime, I have done some trap shooting, but never sporting clay. My husband would love it, too. (We used to go on shooting dates!) I'm glad they have ammunition for sale...I always seem to forget mine. Thanks for the tip!
Best Gun Range - 2007
St. Louis Skeet and Trap Club
There is skeet shooting, there is trap shooting, and then, bless us, there's sporting clays. For the first two, you stand in a fixed position and shoot clay pigeons launched across your field of vision (skeet) or away from you (trap). Sporting clays offers the best of both worlds: The shooter moves from station to station, each of which offers a fresh shooting opportunity. Think of it as golf with shotguns. Established in 1934, the St. Louis Skeet and Trap Club offers skeet, trap and sporting clays, not to mention shooting lessons. Guns are available for rental and ammunition for sale, and many of the fields are lighted for nighttime use. Take our word for it: It's a blast.
