Was a bit disappointed with MiRanchito. It came highly recommended, but the food tasted overly simple and "out-of-the-can." No foods bursting with freshness or vibrant flavor. The servers were nice enough, but nothing more. But it was inexpensive.

From 11 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday you can choose from nine combination meals tasty versions of the usual suspects: enchiladas, tacos, burritos and more served with rice and/or beans for only $4.75. The cost still too high? You can get the "Speedy Gonzales" combo (an enchilada and a taco) for just $4. If you're willing to lay out just a little more scratch, "chori pollo" offers loads of flavor for just $6.25: a chicken breast topped with cheese and chorizo, served with rice, guacamole salad and flour tortillas. Add in the obligatory chips and salsa and you've got one satisfying meal and enough money left for dinner.
