Dude. We like the way father and son Steve and Zach Smith roll. Their Moto Museum, vintage April 2007, occupies 15,000 square feet in an old printing factory in the Locust Business District that's been retooled into a hip-industrial showroom by the fashionable architecture firm the Lawrence Group. A window into almost eight decades (1900-1975) of European motorcycling, the MM features rare bikes from Steve Smith's own collection. It's also the site of the new St. Louis International Motorcycle Festival and has become one of the coolest party venues in town. Call before making the trip if traveling from a long distance, as special events on weekends — the only time the museum is open to the public (from noon till 4 p.m.) — can put a kink in the ol' gears. Admission is $6.
