Best Restaurant Neighborhood

South Grand
"Where should we eat?" is never an easy question to answer. For residents of Tower Grove South and East, it takes on the mind-bending complexity of quantum physics. Choosing to dine at any one of the restaurants on the stretch of South Grand between Arsenal and Gravois means choosing not to dine at all of the others. Eating charbroiled pork at Lemon Grass (this year's "Best Vietnamese Restaurant"), you dream of muntoo at the Afghan restaurant Sameem. Scooping up hummus at Café Natasha Kabob International (this year's "Best Middle Eastern Restaurant"), you hunger for the kitfo at Meskerem Ethiopian Restaurant (this year's "Best East African Restaurant"). Choose Thai at the King and I and you miss out on fresh pasta at Mangia Italiano or roasted duck at Wei Hong Bakery & Restaurant. Don't tear your hair out, though. According to quantum physics, you're actually eating at all of these restaurants at the same time.
