It's tough being an audiophile. We totally understand. All your friends have learned to run the moment they hear the word "analog" come out of your mouth, in order to avoid the twenty-minute tirade they know is coming. No one in your family cares a fig about the great new tracking scale you bought, and your significant other has threatened you with physical harm if you try to get her (or him) to listen to even one more record through a lamp cord so they have a reference point. Do not give up. Even though none of the people in your life share your passion, the good people at the Sound Room want to be your friends. Well, that's not entirely true. They probably don't really want to be your friends, but they will be perfectly willing to sell you the same M&K speakers that George Lucas uses for mixing purposes, if you happen to have $12,000 lying around. They'll also listen to you talk about wow, flutter and probably some words you just make up. In short, the Sound Room is like Cheers for people just like you. Well, sort of, anyway.
