For years "fashion police" have patrolled the world of haute couture armed only with their snarky insults, furled lips and brazen bitchiness. Then along comes the City of Pine Lawn, which last year passed an ordinance outlawing baggy pants in the north St. Louis County suburb. All of a sudden fashion police are just that: They're real cops armed with real guns and — ironically — real mustaches. (A fashion no-no everywhere but Belarus.) But don't tell that to the Pine Lawn po-po. Violate their dress code and they could put a cap in your ass. Gives new meaning to the phrase "death by fashion."
