By day Harvey Iceman is a champion ice sculptor at Just Add Ice Productions in south St. Louis County, crafting everything from six-foot statues of Rapunzel trapped in a castle to those swans you see at weddings. By night he makes the coolest bongs in town. Literally. Using a chain saw, chisels and Dremel tools, the Iceman molds solid blocks of ice, inserts plastic tubing and a bowl piece, and voilà: ice bong. Shapes have included everything from a multi-chambered cube to a skull to, well, a bong made of ice. The pipes (intended for tobacco use only, mind you) will last anywhere from several hours to several weeks before melting, depending on how diligent you are about getting off the couch and returning them to the freezer.
