Circles, Tilt, Dropsy: The names of the holes are as straightforward and simple as the holes themselves seem to be. But don't be deceived. The turf is quick, the hazards — hills, curves, strategically placed rocks — subtle, like a sparsely decorated room that adheres to the principles of feng shui. This well-designed course demands ample skill and foresight, and though there's just one par-four hole (No. 9), more than a few are confounding enough to leave a golfer cursing and pushing the half-dozen-stroke mark. Price is $3.50 for kids and $5 for adults — even on weekends. And if you're ready to take your golf game from mini to maxi, there's a double-decker driving range and an adjacent par-three golf course.
