A quaint storefront in the heart of Dogtown's business district at Clayton and Tamm avenues, Dogtown Gallery & Frame Shop is just as colorful as the vibrant city scenes showcased within the frames themselves. Colorful, too, is co-owner Jaynelle Haynes. After just a few trips in, she'll surely remember you, and even if your return visit was prompted by a problem with your custom frame (or shadow box, or matting, or anything else), she'll be no less welcoming. A onetime Dogtown resident herself, Haynes retains a fondness for the neighborhood and the city that's captured in the merchandise, from the shamrock- and St. Louis-centric T-shirts to the matted photos and bright artwork — the print by local artist Craig Downs depicting the Ancient Order of Hibernians' St. Louis St. Patrick's Day Parade's a popular one, natch.
