I've seen over 300 VA shows! I was around for "Best Band" in 96, dreaming about electric noodles, and now I'm so excited and proud to see the guys get some luv! The guys were rockin then, and they're rockin now! DON'T MISS THE CHANCE TO SEE THEM LIVE! Tracy, time to bust out the Quad! Congrats Gentlemen. This couldn't have happened to a kinder group of guys!

Vitamen A
Long before there was anything like a jam band scene or the cult of Trey, the heavy-rock veterans of Vitamin A (now spelled Vitamen A) were exploring the outer limits of the Zappa-Floyd-Dead psychedelic nexus, a style that's as brainy as it is blasted by mushroom flashbacks and King Crimson quadraphonic LPs. Formed in 1991 by guitarists Tony Vrooman and Tracy Lowe, the group doesn't just stretch out — they engorge on polyrhythms, construct vertiginous towers of riffs and mathematically distend solos to the point of total implosion of structure. And yet somehow, the band always returns to a funky, ass-shaking groove.
