Welcome to SkyTerrace, the patio at Cielo. Your table is right this way, facing the Arch. We think you'll have a most pleasant evening, beginning with our Parmesan crisps and fresh-baked bread, served with olive oil and a little sun-dried tomato. What's that, you like the soft music? Mmm-hmm, just a little something to put you in the mood, a little lounge-y — not too much oontz-oontz. We happily recommend the lobster-carrot soup to start, and the Berkshire pork chop as an entrée is out of this world. Before dessert you'll be treated to some house-made pétits-fours — a dainty banana-cream tart with meringue, say, or peanut-butter fudge kissed with dark chocolate. Yes, we have our own pastry chef — such a rarity these days, we know! Hmm? No, no, it isn't the prosecco, dear, the Arch always shimmers like that under its spotlights at this hour. You're on the eighth floor up here! Pretty stunning, isn't it? Absolutely no better spot to nosh outdoors in St. Louis. It is our great pleasure to thank you for coming.
