Comments (0) Best TV News Anchor - 2009

Sandy Miller

Readers' Choice: Mike Bush

Most local television stations struggle to fill their nightly newscasts with a half-hour of, well, actual news. FOX 2 (KTVI) does the seemingly impossible, airing a continuous hour-and-a-half of local news. The first hour airs between 9 and 10 p.m. The second program, FOX 2 News Edge, runs from 10 till 10:30 p.m. But what could the FOX 2 team possibly discuss during their 70th and 80th minutes of local news? Well, they discuss the same thing they talked about at minutes 10 and 20, but they look much, much better doing it. That's because News Edge is anchored by Sandy Miller. A former Miss Missouri who was third runner-up in the Miss USA Pageant, the comely Miller eschews the traditional anchor desk during News Edge. Instead she sashays about the studio introducing new stories as elegantly and beautifully as Vanna White turns tiles.

Sandy is smokin hot for her age...I think she looks hotter now than when she was Miss Missouri.

Mandy Murphy is WAY better looking and a MUCH better anchor than Sandy Miller. I dont even get how there is a comparison. Really?
