Im 12 years old and i'd like to get my nose pierced. I know the risks and my parnets are ready and so am i. Now the tricky part is finding a place near my town that pierce such a young age...any suggestions?

A piercing is not something to be undertaken lightly. That's the first thing the staff at TRX Tattoos and Piercing wants you to know. Sure, they'll pierce anything — they even do the notorious "Prince Albert," and do it far more frequently than you'd think — but they want to be sure you know what you're getting into. If you get a surface piercing on the nape of your neck, for instance, they'll warn you that you'll need to cut all the tags out of the backs of your shirts and throw your necklaces away. Oh, and it takes a really long time to heal, and, well, maybe you should have a serious conversation with a piercer before they bring out the gun. That said, they're about as nice as people can be when they're poking holes in your skin. They're punctilious about needles, of course — they'll only use a needle once. And aftercare? That requires another conversation, just so you understand everything you need to know. Did we mention a piercing is not something to be undertaken lightly?

Nice to see you picked a place with real piercers this year. I pierce and I have nothing but respect for this shop and the people that work there, congrats guys.
I totally agree! I've gotten three piercings here, and other places do not even compare! So informative, and truthful. It's good to know that you can go somewhere and before worrying about making a quick buck, they are worried about your personal safety and comfort. Stan is very lovable! and even months after getting pierced at trx, when I had a problem, Stan was happy to help and take care of me : ) I'll never go anywhere else for all my tattoo and piercing needs!
The author of this article didn't do their homework. No reputable piercer would ever think of using a gun to pierce.
