Lindenwood Park

Lindenwood Park

Jamieson Ave. and Lindenwood Place

St. Louis, MO 63109

Map & Details>>

Lindenwood Park might be best known for the thoroughfares that form its boundaries: Hampton Avenue, Arsenal and Chippewa streets, and Interstate 44. Within this predominantly residential neighborhood, however, you can find a topnotch restaurant for almost any taste. Biggie's is the Platonic ideal of the neighborhood bar and grill (the veal parm's outstanding), while Stellina Pasta Café turns out terrific sandwiches and dishes made with fresh pasta. Pizza-a-Go-Go, this year's winner for Best Pizza (Thin Crust), has called Lindenwood Park home for years, as evinced by its charmingly retro building. Like any neighborhood, there's a new kid on the block. Here, it just so happens to be this year's Best New Restaurant, Farmhaus, where chef Kevin Willmann showcases his prodigious talents. Though Lindenwood Park's location makes it convenient for anyone to visit, residents do have one advantage: They can walk home and begin working off all of those delicious, delicious calories.
