The neighboring businesses have all given way in the past two decades to Mexican restaurants and Hispanic retailers. But at Yesterday's, it's still like — well, you know. Time stands still at this tavern and eatery just south of Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. Photos of silver-screen legends line the wall above the bar, and an ancient jukebox weighs down a corner of the dining room. Saunter in for happy hour, and the old-timers will turn in their stools to give you a welcoming nod before focusing their attention back on the enormous flat-screen TV behind the bar. That startling piece of machinery is one of the few things that has changed in Yesterday's twenty-plus years in business. We like it that way.
