Like lots of sports bars, Brentwood's Sports Attic doesn't have much need for traditional overhead lighting — the blue glow of big-screen TVs and the red hue of neon Budweiser signs keep the place appropriately low-lit and low-key. It's telling, then, that the biggest source of light in the room comes from right above the dartboards. Honest-to-God white light bulbs keep the twin boards (real cork, of course) well lit for casual play and the bar's weekly dart league. The bright lights make it easy to tell a double bull's-eye from a regular one, although, after a few Pabsts, all the light in the world won't make you throw straight.
