Cotton Babies
Necessity is the mother of invention. Jenn Labit is the mother who invented. In the mid-2000s the St. Louis mother of three created an adjustable cloth diaper that is now the center of her business empire that includes a huge online presence in addition to stores in Missouri and Washington State. The Town & Country location is the newest of the brick-and-mortar shops to open. Located in the same development as the T&C Whole Foods Market, Cotton Babies features an array of natural products for baby and mama, including environmentally conscious diapers, organic infant wear, maternity clothes and eco-friendly toys made of wood or recycled plastics. But Cotton Babies is more than just a store. It's also a community center that aims to strengthen the bond between parents and newborns by offering classes on topics such as infant CPR, infant yoga, home remedies and baby signing.
