If you grew up in Webster Groves, chances are Weber's Front Row has played a part in your life at some point or another — working in the kitchen, maybe, while Sis waited tables. Or it's where you celebrated a victory for home team, grabbed a beer after class at Webster University, or as the go-to place for to-go food when nobody feels like cooking but everybody feels like chicken wings. Mini high school reunions and block parties seem to break out with regularity here, as though the place has hosted fifty years of memories, not just twenty. Like any good neighborhood bar, Weber's is just as suited for midday visits — when lunch specials, such as pizza and pasta, are just $5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. — as it is for happy hour, which happens from 3 to 6 p.m. (Drink specials return at 10 p.m. for the late-night crowd.) Though a new location opened up in Arnold this summer, it's the original that gets top marks. After all, nobody loves oldies but goodies more than St. Louisans.
