Sasha's on Shaw
There are plenty of big patios in town. The patio at Sasha's on Shaw, on the other hand, is cozy. It almost feels like it could be your patio. "Almost," because you probably don't have a crazy huge credit line at Home Depot to cover pavers, water features, torches and tables, not to mention an unfailing green thumb and HGTV-worthy levels of construction knowhow. Now that we've established that this is most assuredly not your own crumbling concrete slab, let's just concentrate on settling in, surrounded by deep red brick and bright green greens. This being a wine bar, Sasha's list (erm, binder) is the main draw here, offering descriptions that're equal parts humorous and helpful when it comes to picking the perfect bottle (or glass) from its dozen-plus pages, but — as when building a patio — you'll want to lay down a solid foundation, and Sasha's capable kitchen is more than up to the task.
