Why fly coach when first-class seats are up for grabs? The experience of going to the movies just got an upgrade, thanks to the developers behind the Mercantile Exchange (MX) District -- downtown's newest dining and entertainment venue. MX Movies, located in the renovated MX building, comes fully equipped with luxury seating, an in-seat ordering system and three digital projection screens showing the latest blockbusters. From a space-age tablet you can order concessions, entrees and even alcohol by sliding a credit or debit card. Within minutes, service staff quietly usher in food and drink to a swiveling tray table. Start with some pulled-pork steam buns or popcorn drizzled with truffle oil, or go straight for angus-beef sliders or a flatbread pizza. For dessert, choose from Serendipity ice-cream floats or Crown Candy Kitchen confections, or opt for warm bread pudding drizzled with white-chocolate rum sauce.
