O'Aces Sports Bar and Grill claims to be Jefferson County's newest and hottest spot, where "beer, wine, and spirits flow as steady as the Mississippi." That's a tall claim for any bar, especially one that inhabits the old strip mall space formerly filled by Fenton favorite Hazzards Sports Bar and Grill. (That was also allegedly the hottest nightlife spot in Jefferson County.) Though O'Aces has some rather large shoes to fill, it fills them, and fills them well. Boasting no fewer than 35 televisions, an impressive stage, standard billiards/foosball/dartboard/arcade/karaoke entertainment, and more than 6,400 square feet of space in which to get rowdy, O'Aces is an, uh, oasis of fun for just about anyone. Ladies, you drink for free on Wednesdays. Guys, there's a poker night every Sunday. Cover band enthusiasts, there's live music every Friday and Saturday night. More >>
http://www.myspace.com/omalleysirishbar Located on Cherokee Antique Row in Marine Villa across from the Benton Park neighborhood, O'Malley's Irish Pub serves up typical Irish dishes, such as shepherd's pie, corned beef and cabbage, and potato soup. The affordable meals also include American pub grub, including chicken strips and burgers. More >>
http://www.offbroadwaystl.com Many people count Off Broadway among the best places to see live music in St. Louis -- if not the best. Every kind of music looks and sounds good here, from local punk to national alt-country. The bartenders are as friendly as the prices, and there's plenty of room, if not always plenty of seats. A non-smoking policy coupled with a great outdoor hang-out area provides the best of both worlds for smoker and non-smoker alike. Be sure to go upstairs for a bird's-eye view of the action. More >>
http://www.oldrockhouse.com In the basement of the Old Rock House lies the Smoke Joint, a barbecue spot that provides concertgoers with Memphis-style ribs, Frito pie, chicken and turkey sandwiches, all available during the venue's live concerts. The restaurant's chef, Mark Renaud, competed in barbecue contest Memphis in May (He placed 17th overall out of more than 400 contestants.) More >>
http://www.dineocr.com A south-city mainstay since 1979, the Original Crusoe's Restaurant serves classic pub grub along with more upscale options. Diners can start their meal with appetizers such as spinach-artichoke dip, breaded wings and mini rye pizzas. Entrées include chicken and beef choices, such as "mud steak," a ten-ounce steak served in a pepper-garlic, white-wine, lemon-butter sauce with mushrooms, and Provel on top. Crusoe's also serves breakfast on Sundays, with traditional favorites, including a slinger, omelets, pancakes, and steak and eggs. Those up for the challenge can order the BAB burger -- that would be "Big Ass Burger" -- 40 ounces of beef and fries on the side. Crusoe's also has banquet facilities and offers catering. More >>

http://www.oznightclub.com If you prefer action over ass, then the Oz is your east-side spot. It's three clubs in one: The main room has a dance floor, techno and house DJs, and four bars. An outdoor lounge called Patio Blue bumps hip-hop under a tented ceiling. The Emerald City VIP lounge has a decadent Casbah feel. Overall, there's a heady hook-up vibe in this all-night wonderland. Should you somehow not score, you can always stumble over to one of the strip bars next door. More >>
