Review Preview: Southtown Bound

Posted By on Tue, Jul 17, 2007 at 3:13 PM

If you're imagining a few dainty morsels set atop paper doilies, stop. These are big, bold cakes -- even simple, lemony cookies are two or three times as big as anything you might dip into your tea or coffee.

This week I visit three restaurants in Southtown: Kabob House, Jasminka Homemade Cakes and Lily's. Why these three restaurants, only one of which is new? Why now? Check back here tomorrow -- or keep a vigilant watch over the nearest RFT box -- to learn the answers.

Back to the regular one-restaurant-an-issue beat next week, I promise.
