The humble falafel at Kabob House might be the least photogenic piece of heaven you'll ever eat. They are fried a dark, dark brown, but they aren't burnt, the crisp exteior yielding to a moist interior. That interior isn't merely a vivid green but damn near fluorescent. Don't allow either color to put you off: These are delicious, the bright seasoning so complex that, after many attempts, I've given up trying to isolate the individual spices.
At any rate, you won't have to look at them for very long. Eaten by themselves or dabbed with tahini sauce and wrapped in a piece of pita, they'll all be devoured soon enough.Kabob House
