's Feast that Webster Groves wine bar and restaurant Robust has named Kris Janik executive chef and Frank Romano general manager
. Meanwhile, Sauce Magazine
has word of the new executive chef at Cielo
: Fabrizio Schenardi, most recently of the Renaissance Tampa Hotel International Plaza.
Finally, to step outside St. Louis, Eater reports that Robb Walsh
, cookbook author and the former restaurant critic at our sister paper, the Houston Press
, is planning to open a Tex-Mex restaurant in Houston. Walsh, besides being one of my favorite food writers, is an expert -- maybe the
expert -- on Tex-Mex cuisine. I don't know him personally, but I wish him the best!
