St. Louis' Hispanic community celebrated Mexican Independence Day this past weekend (no, gringo, that didn't happen on Cinco de Mayo) with a two-day festival on Cherokee Street. In addition to dozens of different delicious taco options, there was plenty of quality comida to be had. Click through for snapshots of the fest and the food in honor of Mexico's 200th birthday.
