85 Lashes Rum Luau and Pig Roast @ The Stable This event promises lots of eats, live music from Jay Phillips, a Magnum, P.I. look-alike contest, a Hula Hoop competition and plenty of drink specials. 2 p.m.
Central West End Block Party @ The Drunken Fish The event features live music, a sushi-eating contest, sushi instruction from Drunken Fish chefs, fire dances, a photo booth and an attempt at setting the world record for "largest group sake bomb." Free. 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Noir at the Bar @ Meshuggah Coffee House Enjoy this evening out with crime fiction and noir novels. Bring some money for drinks and enjoy special readings.
