Friday (Aug. 10):

Food Truck Friday @ southwest side of Tower Grove Park Grab eats from Guerilla Street Food, Le Food Truck, recent Cupcake Wars winners The Sweet Divine and many more during this monthly mobile food event. Admission is free. 5 to 8 p.m.

Julia Child inspired dinner @ Vin de Set In honor of the French chef's would-be 100th birthday, Vin de Set offers a special three-course prix-fixe dinner. $29.99 per person. Call 314-241-8989 for reservations. Available Tuesday, August 14 through Sunday, August 19.

Intro to Burgundy @ Wine Merchant Ltd. Get a glimpse into Burgundy's fine wine during this crash course introduction. $30 per person. 6 p.m.

Saturday (Aug. 11):

Third Annual Luv Luv Farm Festival & BBQ Cook-Off @ Overlook Farm; Clarksville, MO The Third Annual Luv Luv Farm Festival will feature a barbecue cookoff, drinks, live music and more. Proceeds from the 2012 festival benefit Chefs4Students, a non-profit that that raises scholarship funds for culinary students. $65 per person. Friday, August 10 from 6 to 11 p.m., Saturday, August 11 at 11 a.m., and Sunday at 4 p.m.

Harvest Sessions @ Tower Grove Farmers' Market Enjoy this live concert series presented by 88.1 KDHX while shopping for local produce and goods. This week's performers are The Brewbadours. Free. The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon. Concert from 10 a.m. to noon.

The Art of PAWS! @ Rialto Ballroom This event features music, entertainment, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a kitty cocktail challenge and specialty drinks from Anheuser-Busch, Barefoot Wine, Barenjager Honey Liqueur and many more to benefit for Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS), a program of Saint Louis Effort for AIDS (EFA). $30 per person. 7 to 11 p.m.

Sunday (Aug. 12):

I Scream For Ice Cream Bicycle Ride @ The Cyclery and Fitness Center; Edwardsville, IL Take a ride through the country, with a pit stop at Annie's Frozen Custard. $8 for members, $13 for non-members, and $3 for children. 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Foodie-Fest Sunday Brunch Buffet @ Jilly's Cupcake Bar Feast on items like biscuits and creole sausage gravy, egg strata, scrambled eggs, and, of course, an array of house baked goods. See the full menu at Jilly's web site. $14.99 for adults, $7.99 for children ages 7 to 10. 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Poremba Picked a Peck of Peppers class @ Kitchen Conservatory Ben Poremba of Salume Beddu leads a hands-on class featuring spicy foods like two indispensable condiments from North Africa - harissa and chermoula, three ceviches from simple to complex, sea scallops with fire-roasted peppers and hot pepper chutney, and Salume Beddu sausages with peperonata. $60 per person. Register online through the Kitchen Conservatory web site. 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Tomato Fest @ Iron Barley Catch live entertainment, a special tomato menu and more. Last year, they crafted the world's largest BLT! 2 to 7 p.m.
