A couple of eagle-eyed readers let me know about a new food truck that has joined the St. Louis fleet: Andrew's Bayou Ribs. According to its Facebook page, the truck hit the St. Louis streets at the beginning of November. It was at St. Louis University on Wednesday and downtown today.
We've reached out to the operator of Andrew's Bayou Ribs for more info. In the meantime, the truck's Facebook page provides a little more background:
Our BBQ is prepared fresh daily, with the flavoring and style of the good old southern bayou. Mouth watering meat that is smoked and running right off the bone, that is smothered in a homemade finger licking BBQ sauce.
Under the "Products" section of the Facebook page it lists the following (potential?) menu items:
Mouth watering: Ribs, Rib Tips, Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pork Steaks, Snoots, Smoked Turkey Leg, Apple Brats, Hot Links, Beef Hot Dogs, Smoked Chicken Wing, Homemade Potato Salad, and Baked Beans
A photo of the menu posted online shows ribs, rib tips and a "one-inch-thick" pork steak dinner at $10 each, with brats and hot links at $4 each.
