Friday (Nov. 1)
For this post-Halloween bash, staff (and presumably, customers) will all be dressed in their Gatsby best while Prohibition-era cocktails flow. Chef Josh Galliano is preparing a special menu with items from the 1920s. Owner Nick Luedde wouldn't spill just what his costume is (perhaps he doesn't know himself yet), but he promises the weekend will be worthy of Daisy Buchanan herself. Admission is free. Friday and Saturday, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The eleven-day celebration starts Friday with $10 lunch specials and a whole-hog porchetta. On Saturday try the Tuscan Tasting Menu. The specials continue through the week and some proceeds benefit charities like Stray Rescue and St. Louis Effort for AIDS. Call 314-241-9999 for reservations.
