Death in the Afternoon will be open for brunch both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning this Saturday, August 23. There will, of course, be bloody marys, and the menu features snacks, entrees and salads. We're eyeing some maple bacon, housemade English muffins and housemade yogurt.
Here's the full menu:
Maple bacon. $6 Housemade english muffin, jam. $5 Marinated olives. $5 Asian eggplant dip. warm pita. $6 Hummus, roasted vegetables, warm pita. $6 Housemade yogurt, seasonal fruit, granola, cashews. $7 Kim chi & pickled vegetables. $6 Chicharrones, soy garlic dipping sauce. $6 Cheese plate, mostarda, fruit leather, baguette. $14 Togarashi spiced french fries, kim chi ketchup. $7
Falafel, fried egg, tomato, avocado, english muffin, manchego cheese. $11 Tonkotsu ramen, pork belly & loin, soft boiled egg, black garlic oil, mushroom, noodles. $16 Turnip miso ramen, root vegetables, kohlrabi, black garlic oil, mushroom. $15 Charcuterie hash, poached egg, bitter greens, ancho chili. $12 Grilled fish, pickles, meyer lemon dill aioli, fennel lemon salad, soft roll. $13 Cornmeal pancake, stone fruit jam, maple syrup. $13
