A small St. Louis-only chain founded by Cecily Hoffius and Judy Bellos, who operate the Ces & Judy’s catering company. The gelato, made fresh daily, is available in flavors both simple (the irresistible chocolate) and indulgent (cookies and cream, tiramisu). For a sophisticated sweetness, try the slightly tart blood-orange gelato. Benito’s also sells chocolate candy and coffee, as well as a small menu of panini and other light lunch fare.
