Del Monico's Diner

4909 Delmar Blvd.
St. Louis, MO 63108
314-361-0973
As all lovingly prepared soul food should, everything offered at Del Monico's goes down the gullet like heavenly mush. Not just such soft soul staples as mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, peach cobbler and mac-'n'-cheese -- but luscious meat loaf, oxtail, and bread pudding. Thanks to its down-home décor, its low prices, and its location right on the border between “north side” and “south side,” Del Monico’s brings in a truly diverse, mixed crowd. Couple that with its food, and this place could probably solve world peace if given the chance.
